Starmobile ASTRA: Price, Specs, Features and Availability

After the successful launch of the A878 Duo, MyPhone’s first dual-SIM android smartphone to feature a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch IPS display and Android ICS OS last September 28th. Starmobile, a maker of quality dual SIM mobile phones in the country just unveiled a teaser photo of their upcoming Android smartphone called the Starmobile ASTRA. The ASTRA is the biggest and the first Android smartphone from Starmobile, featuring a 1GHz dual-core processor, 4.3-inch IPS display, 8MP autofocus camera, Mobile TV and the most important feature of all, 3G connectivity support!     tatapat daw dito yung myphone a898 na 5mp pero 2 led flash daw so ano kaya ang resulta sa camera and video comparison . Sa day performance maaring lamang ang Astra but night video baka myphone coz 2 led flash

    Na update na pla yung link dati po 150MB of internal storage/memory lng po yung OT997.. at 8MP with 720p video recording din po yung astra.

    read more sir. .the internal memory of ot 997 is 4GB ^_^

    997 is far more better specs than the Astra specially compare the camera of 8MP with 720p video rec. .just dont know the Price ^_^

    The Starmobile Astra has the same specs with that of the Alcatel OT 997, except for the RAM (OT 997 has 1GB of RAM, while the Astra has 512MB), internal storage (the OT 997 has 150MB of internal storage, while the Astra has 4GB), Mobile TV (OT 997 has none) and the battery capacity (1,800mAh against the 1,500mAh of the Astra). I think the Alcatel OT 997 is slightly better than the Astra because of its 1GB RAM and 1,800mAh battery.

    meron kayang GPU to? im willing to wait if so. kaso big letdown naman yung battery. lahit 1800mAh man lang sana. sa laki ng display, IPS, with TV pa. baka d kayanin nito kahit isang araw

    This baby is gonna be a big hit if the price is around 5k and good advertising. Tv will surely look good on a big screen and a camera flash 3g, glass screen etc! Almost perfect for a budget phone. I think myphone is going to cry. Hehe
    The main problem would be the battery life!
