6,000 copies of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 stolen in France
According to French news site TFI and Ultimate PS3, a delivery truck in Créteil, France carrying 6,000 copies of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 worth 400,000 euros ($551,000) was hijacked and stolen on Saturday by two masked people. According to the report the delivery truck crashed with a car, and when the truck's drivers exited, two masked people tear-gassed them before taking off with the game.
Activision has warned that playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 before it's official release is "not authorised" and that doing so may earn you a ban.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is set to be released on November 8, 2011 in Europe and North America on Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, Wii, and Nintendo DS.
