HTC Edge leaked: The First Quad-Core Smartphone

According to Pocketnow, the leaked HTC Edge is reportedly going to be one of the world's first smartphone powered by a quad-core processor.

The device will supposedly offer an AP30 Tegra 3 1.5GHz quad-core CPU from Nvidia, 4.7-inch 720p HD display, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, a backlit 8MP rear camera with 28-millimeter and f/2.2 lens, Beats Audio, there is no LTE capability mentioned specifically, but said to support 21Mbps HSDPA, also absent was mention of a specific version of Android and Edge could be one of the first Sense 4.0 devices.

Edge may also see the rollout of new or improved HTC content services, such as the previously tipped HTC Listen music store, HTC Read bookstore, and HTC Play gaming hub; the HTC Watch movie portal.

HTC Edge is expected to be launch late Q1 / early Q2 2012.
