Ice Cream Sandwich keyboard now available for Android 2.2+ devices

As more Android Ice Cream Sandwich themes and ported applications are seen in the Android Market lately. A member on XDA Developers, named for.digit, has ported the Ice Cream Sandwich keyboard for Android 2.2+ devices using the Ice Cream Sandwich source code that was released a few weeks ago.

The keyboard is currently available in the Android Market for free but the developer cautions that it is a beta release therefore some bugs are expected.

- Multitouch keyboard
- User dictionary, built-in dictionary
- Configurable auto correction
- Redesigned and optimized keyboard layout and style
- Speech to text (select languages only)
- Custom vibration intensity (haptic feedback)
- Long press "Enter" key to bring up smiley alternatives
- Long press on "/" key in URL mode to bring up domains

Included dictionaries:
English,French,Italian,German,Spanish.
