Androidland: The world's first Android store opens in Melbourne
Australian telecom Telstra recently launched the worlds first Android store called Androidland, with the backing of Google and other various partners such as HTC, Motorola, Sony Ericsson and Samsung.
Androidland is unveiled at Telstra's flagship retail outlet in Bourke Street Melbourne, the 154 square meter space brings together interactive technology, games and on-site experts to explain the features of Google's popular Android operating system.
Telstra is also planning to keep the 154 square meter store open for the next 6 months and beyond, depending on customer benefit.
