Huawei unveiled the 6.68mm thin Ascend P1 S smartphone
Huawei unveiled today the world's slimmest smartphone the 6.68mm thick Ascend P1 S at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. The Ascend P1 S comes with a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED qHD (960x540) display, 1.5Ghz dual-core TI OMAP 4460 CPU, SGX 540 graphic processor, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB ROM, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 HS, 1670 mAh/1800 mAh battery, 8 megapixel BSI rear-facing and 1.3 megapixel HD front-facing cameras.
Huawei is also unveiling another model of the same smartphone series, the Huawei Ascend P1, which is almost identical and has the same functionality with the Ascend P1 S, but has a slightly thicker 7.69mm body.
The Huawei Ascend P1 and the Huawei Ascend P1 S will be available three colors - metallic black, ceramic white, cherry-blossom pink and will arrive in Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America, Australia, Middle East and China in the second quarter of 2012.
