Polaroid SC1630 Smart Camera: An Android phone and a 16-megapixel camera with 3X optical zoom

Polaroid the company that is known for making cameras that instantly prints shots has introduced a smart camera powered by Android called the Polaroid SC1630 Smart Camera, a combination of an Android phone and a 16 megapixel camera with 3X optical zoom and 5X digital zoom.

The Polaroid SC1630 Smart Camera comes with a 3.2-inch 800 x 400 capacitive touchscreen display, 512MB of internal storage, 512MB of RAM, FM radio, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, proximity sensor, G-sensors, micro SIM slot, Micro USB and a 2.5mm headphone jack. The Camera also comes with a Smart Album feature that organizes photos by date, location and people, geotagging, instant editing function, anti-shake, red-eye removal, resizing and color correction. It also has 18 scene modes to choose from and can shoot videos in 720p.

The Polaroid SC1630 Smart Camera will be available in April and will be priced at $299.
