Sony just unveiled the Xperia U, a stylish and compact smartphone with a 3.5-inch screen and the Xperia P, which features an aluminum unibody design and Sony's "WhiteMagic" display technology. Both the Xperia P and the Xperia U will join Sony’s NXT line of smartphones to which the Xperia S belongs.
The Xperia P comes with a dual-core 1GHz NovaThor U8500 processor, 4-inch qHD (540 x 960) Reality display with Sony's "White Magic" technology, 1GB RAM,
16GB of internal storage,
Android 2.3 Gingerbread (upgradable to Android 4.0), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA,
3G/HSPA,
Bluetooth 2.1,
GPS w/ aGPS support,
8MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash
and 1080p video recording,
VGA front facing camera,
NFC support,
FM radio tuner and
1300mAh battery.

8GB of internal storage, Android 2.3 Gingerbread (upgradable to Android 4.0), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, DLNA, 3G/HSPA,
Bluetooth 2.1,
GPS w/ aGPS support,
5MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash and
720p video recording,
VGA front facing camera, FM radio tuner
and 1300mAh battery. It also features Sony's xLoud and 3D surround sound audio technology.
Both phones will be available during the second quarter of 2012.
