Iloilo Federation for Information Technology (IFIT) Labor Day Job Fair
The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI)-Iloilo Chapter recently announced that they will be holding two simultaneous Labor Day job fairs here in Iloilo City this May 1. More details after the jump.
One of the job fairs will be held by the Iloilo Federation for Information Technology (IFIT) at the Amigo Plaza Mall from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM for business process outsourcing (BPOs) companies, while the other one will be held at SM City Iloilo for other local job vacancies and overseas placement agencies.
Labor information officer Amy Judicpa said close to 1,000 jobs in the call center sector are up for grabs while already the PCCI has estimated some 500 local vacancies from their member-establishments.
