Google Chrome overtakes Microsoft’s Internet Explorer (IE) as the world's most used browser from the data collected by Web analytics company StatCounter. According to The Next Web, Chrome's change of leadership was first spotted by Global Nerdy blogger Joey deVilla last week and shows that people using Chrome as their browser overtook IE for the first week ever, with Firefox, Safari and Opera completing the top five respectively.
