New racing-themed Angry Birds Heikki game coming June 18th

Rovio, the creator of the globally successful Angry Birds franchise have teamed up with Formula 1 racing car driver Heikki Kovalainen to launch a new, racing-themed web-based game called Angry Birds Heikki on June 18th. Rovio also set up a website that allows you to spread the new game via social networks like Google+, Twitter and Facebook. More details after the jump.

"It's the first time that I've partnered with a gaming company, and it fits with my larger focus on partnering with unique brands," Kovalainen said in a statement. "As a Finn, I'm also happy to be backing a Finnish company on a global platform. Most importantly, I'm a big Angry Birds fan!"

Kovalainen will be sporting an Angry Birds-themed helmet at this weekend's inaugural Formula 1 race in Melbourne, Australia. Rovio's Harri Koponen, the executive vice president of consumer products said, "The helmet looks amazing, and we think people are really going to enjoy the webgame and merchandise."
