Nokia is set to launch the Nokia Lumia 900 here in the Philippines this coming May 18th

Nokia Philippines just unveiled an announcement with a message "SOMETHING AMAZING IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN" and a date May 18, 2012, that's Friday next week. We're not sure what it is since the announcement didn't reveal much and the tiles on the invite? Yes the tiles, we're guessing that Nokia is set to launch the Nokia Lumia 900 here in the Philippines this coming May 18th. More about the Nokia Lumia 900 after the jump.

Update: Nokia Philippines just announced that the Lumia 900 will be available in June at all Nokia Stores and select retail outlets in the country for an SRP of just Php27,990. Plus, you can get a free Nokia Purity Stereo Headset WH-920 by Monster.

The Nokia Lumia 900, the first Nokia phone to support high-speed LTE data transfers was first announced at the CES 2012 in Las Vegas last January. The phone was named "Best of CES" smartphone by CNet, the Lumia 900 also won a Popular Mechanics "editor’s choice award" for CES, a Popular Science “Product of the Future” award, and is one of LAPTOP magazine’s “Best of CES” finalists.
