Samsung Mobile Philippines drop the price of the Galaxy SII and Tab 7.7

Samsung Mobile Philippines just announced on their Facebook page that they are dropping the prices of some of their galaxy devices. First in the price drop is the Samsung Galaxy SII for only Php24,990, that's Php5,000 cheaper from its original SRP of Php29,990 and the second is the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 with an original SRP of Php35,990, now retails for just Php27,990. That’s Php8,000 off the original SRP. Here’s the official statement from Samsung Mobile Philippines Facebook page after the jump.

Samsung Galaxy SII:
"Just 2months ago, we brought the groundbreaking SII's price down from PHP29,990. Starting APRIL 27, the SII will retail at JUST PHP24,990!!! That's a whopping PHP5,000 price drop from the original price!"

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7:
"The Galaxy Tab 7.7 was at PHP35,990 just 5months ago. NOT ANYMORE! The first tablet with Super AMOLED Plus gets a price tag for all. Beginning APRIL 27, the Tab7.7 will be at only PHP27,990 (PHP8,000 off original SRP)"

It looks like Samsung is now getting ready to offer the next Galaxy smartphone (Samsung Galaxy S3) and tablets, by vacating the price range of the Galaxy SII and Tab 7.7.
