Sun Cellular partners with NTC for Migrant Worker’s Day Libreng Tawag

Telecommunications giant Sun Cellular, in partnership with the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC), hosted a Libreng Tawag activity in celebration of the annual Migrant Worker’s Day last June 7, 2012 at the Philippine Trade Training Center.

“Aside from producing affordable products intended for international users, Libreng Tawag sponsorships are also one of our little, albeit very convenient ways of providing support to our countrymen abroad,” says Reuben S.J. Pangan, Vice President for Customer Relationship Management of Sun Cellular.

The Libreng Tawag booth was aimed for the families of OFWs in need of assistance from the government. “We are very thankful to Sun Cellular for supporting us in our effort to reach out to our countrymen abroad,” said Linda C. Mercado, Consultant for the Office of the Commissioner of the NTC. Mercado herself was one of the people who manned the booth.
