Sony Philippines extends its support and care to the typhoon victims via its Para sa Pinoy Project

Sony Philippines extends its support and care to the victims of the recent calamitous events which have dampened the country’s spirit through Para sa Pinoy, a relief support project. Aiming to benefit those families who were greatly affected by the recent monsoon & flooding in Metro Manila, the program consists of two components, namely the Bravia Discount Replacement and Gadget Donation Programs, and runs from August 18 to September 18. More details after the jump.

With the Bravia Discount Program, those whose Sony Bravia televisions were heavily damaged due to the recent natural disasters can avail of a cut rate of Php2,000-Php4,000 when they replace their units with selected BRAVIA models. The 32BX will have a cut-price of Php2,000 while the 40BX450 and 46BX450 will be discounted by Php3,000 and Php4,000, respectively. All markdowns will be deducted from the SRP and will be honored in all authorized dealer outlets within Luzon only.

Meanwhile, the Gadget Donation Program allows customers to take advantage of enticing promos while making a difference. For every Sony VAIO laptop purchase, a financial assistance of Php500 will be directly donated to the relief operations of the Philippine Red Cross. Similarly, every digital imaging product (Alpha, Handycam & Cyber-shot main units only) purchase will automatically result in a Php200 contribution to the same effort. This program is applicable only to current Sony VAIO models and digital imaging products.

With these initiatives, Sony furthers its commitment in securing the safety and well-being of those living in affected areas and helping them re-build their lives.

“In our own little ways we want to extend our assistance and care to our local costumers” said Mr. Yasushi Asaoka, Sony Philippines President & Managing Director. “Our commitment to better the lives of our Filipino consumers is most important to us.”
