Dare to get wet! Sony officially launches the Xperia Go and Xperia Acro S in the Philippines

Sony Mobile Philippines just launched today the durable, dust-, water- and scratch-resistant, Xperia Go and Xperia Acro S. The Xperia Acro S is an IP57-certified HD Android smartphone that is immune to dust and can survive being submerged up to 1 meter under water for 30 minutes, while the Xperia Go a smaller version of the Acro S is a very sturdy and stylish smartphone that can take one dust and water (IP67 certified). Both also comes with feature called Wet Finger Tracking, which lets you use the touchscreen even if your fingers are wet. More about details after the jump.

Price and Availability
The Sony Xperia Go is already available at licensed distributors nationwide for a suggested retail price of Php14,490, while the Sony Xperia Acro S will be released within the next week for an SRP of Php26,990.

Note: Widget City, one of the trusted online gadget stores in the country is also selling the Xperia Go for Php12,750 and the Sony Xperia Acro S for a price of just Php24,350 for black variant or you can add Php1,000 for white or pink variant.
