Smart first to offer the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and it’s FREE with Smart Unli Data Plan 2000!
Leading wireless services provider Smart Communications, Inc. (Smart) has made available the highly publicized Samsung Galaxy Note 2, and it’s FREE with every subscription to a Smart Unli Data Plan 2000. More details after the jump.
"We are proud to be the first, and thus far, the only telco in the Philippines to make available the latest and most advanced Android 'phablet' in the world," said Smart Postpaid Marketing Head Kathy Carag.
"The Samsung Galaxy Note 2 enhances our already impressive roster of Android devices," she added.
Much like the original Samsung Galaxy Note, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 fuses together the straightforward functionality of a smartphone and the creative possibilities of a tablet.
With the large 5.5-inch Super AMOLED screen and the included S-pen stylus, users can draw, doodle, and jot down notes whenever they wish. What's more, they can easily share their quirky creations online either via 3G or WiFi.
"In just a few strokes, you can mark locations on a map, personalize photos, and even sign documents," said Carag.
Apart from the sophisticated stylus, the Samsung Galaxy Note 2 is also known for being one of the quickest mobile devices ever created.
Thanks to the 1.6GHz Quad Core processor and the latest version of Android (version 4.1 "Jellybean") pre-installed, this handheld wonder can handle HD photos, videos, and other hardware-hungry apps and files available from the Google Play! online store.
"Smart's reliable mobile network makes this exciting device even more exciting to use," said Carag.
Also available for free under Smart Unli Data Plan 2000 are the top tier Samsung Galaxy S3 and the HTC One X.
Both smartphones are capable of connecting to Smart's nationwidest High Speed Packet Access Plus (HSPA+) network which is capable of delivering download speeds of up to 21Mbps.
