Cherry Mobile Blaze vs. Cherry Mobile Skyfire: Specs Fight!
The Cherry Mobile Blaze and the Cherry Mobile Skyfire, both are among the budget friendly 4.7-inch Android ICS smartphone with a 1GHz dual-core processor! With that a lot of people are asking which is better between the two? So, aside from their looks, can you really tell the difference between the two? If not, let’s look at their specs side-by-side after the jump.
If you can see both the Cherry Mobile Blaze and the Cherry Mobile Skyfire have the same processor, RAM, internal storage and GPU that can play Angry Birds, Bad Piggies, Temple Run and is compatible with Adobe Flash, but the Cherry Mobile Blaze edges the Cherry Mobile Skyfire with its 4.7-inch FWVGA display (208ppi with 5-point multi-touch feature) and its 8MP auto-focus camera, while the Cherry Mobile Skyfire only edges the Cherry Mobile Blaze with its tri-band GSM connectivity and its price of just Php5,999 only!
Now, which phone wins the fight?
Update:
(01/17/13) According to AnTuTu Benchmark v3.0.3, the screen resolution of the Cherry Mobile Skyfire is FWVGA (854x480) and not WVGA (800x480). That's the same screen resolution of that of the Cherry Mobile Blaze! Thanks Ron Cruz for the tip!
If you own one of this phone, please share some of your experiences and opinions about this phone, so that others may be aware of it. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteCan you provide me a screenshot of Antutu? Dahil makikita doon yung WVGA o FWVGA talaga yung resolution. Thanks for the tip :)
ReplyDeleteHello! screenshots from my Skyfire produces an image with a resolution of 854×480 which means that it has the same resolution spec as Blaze (FWVGA). and it appears to also be a 5 point multi-touch from my testing. The extra Php 500 is only for the +3MP camera resolution :)
ReplyDeleteI bought Blaze from Lazada, the unit is good, its lightweight, really like an S3, why buy expensive gadgets when in fact nowadays your new unit today might get obsolete as early as the following day. i just experienced the heating of its back near the camera on its first day, parang navirginized,LOLS. So far it did not get hot anymore. as long as u get what you want at lesser price, Go!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know the Blaze is just dual-band? In this age, how can you release a dual-band fone? That's simply won't do.
