Step 15: Then wait for your phone to turn on.

ReplyDeleteNevermind, sir. I had these done at my brother's laptop which had windows vista and it worked. Thank you so much for sharing to us this wonderful tutorial! I'm twice as happy now than when I bought my phone. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're Welcome :)
ReplyDeleteYes sir. every step has been followed. I;m not getting that option on my phone. :( Could it be because I'm using windows 8?
ReplyDeleteMaybe, some drivers and programs are not yet compatible with windows 8.
ReplyDeleteSir, did you follow Step 7 "Check your PdaNet at your computer if it's connected to internet." After Step 6 "Enable USB Tether" on your phone, then an option to “Turn Off PdaNet” will appear once it is connected.

Hi there. Glad it worked for others but it's not working for me. I want to clarify a few things.
ReplyDelete"Step 8: Go to your PdaNet on your phone, Then turn off the PdaNet." - Does this mean I will have to force stop the running app?
"Step 12: Then RUN/START the Runme.bat file and Step 13: The command prompt will appear and it will start the rooting process script, Press "1" and hit ENTER. (Device Type - NORMAL)." - The batch file reads "The system cannot find the path specified." After I hit enter, nothing happens to my cp. It seems my crystal isn't being detected.
Any help will be appreciated immensely.

ReplyDeleteAndroid rooting is the process of allowing users of smartphones, tablets, and other devices running the Android mobile operating system to attain privileged control (known as "root access") within Android's subsystem.
ReplyDeleteRooting is often performed with the goal of overcoming limitations that carriers and hardware manufacturers put on some devices, resulting in the ability to alter or replace system applications and settings, run specialized apps that require administrator-level permissions, or perform other operations that are otherwise inaccessible to a normal Android user. On Android, rooting can also facilitate the complete removal and replacement of the device's operating system, usually with a more recent release of its current operating system.
