MyPhone A919 Duo vs. O+ 8.9 Android: Specs Fight!
The battle for the most affordable 5-inch phablets (phone + tablets) is now heating up! The MyPhone A919 Duo and the O+ 8.9 Android, both are among the most affordable Android phablets in the market today that sports a 5-inch display and powered by 1GHz dual-core processor. If you can see both the MyPhone A919 Duo and the O+ 8.9 Android have the same RAM, internal storage, MediaTek MT6577 processor and PowerVR SGX531 GPU (Both can play Angry Birds, Temple Run and is compatible with Adobe Flash), but the MyPhone A919 Duo edges the O+ 8.9 Android with its 5.0-inch FWVGA IPS display with 196ppi, its 8MP camera with dual LED flash, TV-Out Support, Dual-mic noise reduction feature and USB-OTG support, while O+ 8.9 Android boasts a quad-band GSM connectivity, Air Shuffle Technology, 2,300mAh battery (2,000mAh for the A919 Duo) and its cheaper price tag of just Php8,995 (for SRP) only.

just what I was looking for... Only it was hours late. Just got the O+ 8.9 thanks . I actually wanted to put the two phones side by side earlier, but can't find the store that caters both.

can't seem to understand the resolution theO+ has, for a lower pixel densisty the O+ semed clearer when I was comparing the two from differnet stores (could be the lighting . I also don't know if the O+ 8.9 has an IPS LCD screen it doesnt say on the box but. I have to give it to O+. The screen seem expensive. (Yeheey!) It actually seem like an IPS screen. Finally, if the processor is stated right on the user manual, a Cortex A9 processor gives the O+ a plus
So far, the O+ seems to be a great phone. Even .used mine as a GPS device in the car and it worked like a charm.
Although comparing to to my LG Optimus Duos which indicated an accuray of 6-10 meters while my O+ only reported an accuracy of within 12-16 meters, I cant really complain about a ten meter difference.

ReplyDeletemas happy ako sa myphone a919 duo ko maganda talaga sya at manipis at maganda ang camera nya kaya sabi ng friend ko gumaganda daw sya sa camera ng phone ko, like ko rin mag games, madali lng mag low batt, ganun talaga mga android phone so i bought extra battery para mas enjoy ang net at gaming ...kala nga ng mga friends ko galaxy note....lol
