Coby Kyros tablets with Smart Bro Power Plug-It now on prepaid!
This summer, Smart Communications (Smart) offers three ways to beat the heat as it makes available its line of Android ICS-powered Coby Kyros Tablets with a Smart Bro Power Plug-It. Now available in 7-inch (P5,495), 8-inch (P7,095), and 9.7-inch (P9,695) variants, the Coby Kyros comes packed with 10 days free Internet access and 400 free text messages and is also available in affordable 3 and 6 month installment terms with a participating credit card.
“If you’re looking for a great graduation gift or just something that will make your roadtrips or staycations more interesting, then the Coby Kyros is for you,” said Smart Broadband Internet and Data Services Head Lloyd Manaloto.
“And with Smart’s unparalleled mobile data coverage and connectivity, you can now experience the convenience of a tablet like never before,” he added.
Designed in the USA, all three “Internet Touchscreen” tablets feature 1GHz processors for fast multimedia performance, front-facing cameras for seamless video-chats, expandable MicroSD slots (up to 32GB) for storing music, photos, apps, and videos, and a built-in USB slot for making use of external accessories such as the Smart Bro Power Plug-It.
“Get to enjoy the wonders of the web at speeds of up to 12Mbps only with Smart’s fiber-powered 3G network,” said Manaloto.
With 54,000kms of fiber optic cables (FOCs), Smart, together with parent company PLDT boast of the Philippines’ first and only 100% super-charged mobile network.
Unlike traditional copper wires which the preferred cable technology of other networks, Smart utilizes FOCs which use pulses of light to deliver millions of calls, billions of text messages, and trillions of bytes of data at the same time.
Fiber makes Smart’s services more reliable as well. With its FOCs arranged in looped configuration, transmission of data continues even if the primary communication highways have been severed.
And with four times more fiber than any other Philippine telco, Smart is the only wireless services provider that is ready to meet the demands of the future.
“Fiber optic cables gives Smart a clear ‘fiber optic advantage’ which simply cannot be matched by any other network,” Manaloto ended.
