Globe surpasses all metrics in NTC Q1 Benchmark Tests 2nd quarter in a row!
Globe Telecom surpassed all metrics set by the National Telecommunication Commission (NTC) in its Quality of Service Benchmarking tests which showed the leading telecoms company as having passed performance standards set by the regulatory body taken during the first quarter this year.
"We were confident that we will pass all the metrics and we did," said Yoly Crisanto, head of Globe Corporate Communications. "Our network modernization is progressively moving forward, in fact, we are practically done with the first phase where all hardware has been replaced with brand new equipment," said Crisanto.
"At this time of the modernization program, we are adding capacity and fine tuning the network to optimize its performance. Changes in the results could be attributed to the time when the tests were done, during which, we may be calibrating our transmission capabilities. We are however, very confident that the network performance will continuously show improvement especially from this point onwards," Crisanto revealed.
"We must reiterate that when the quarterly benchmark results were done by the NTC beginning 2nd quarter of 2012, the performance of Globe network has progressively improved which shows the gains of modernization. This is exactly why we are modernizing, to provide subscribers the superior network performance and service quality they deserve," she added.
