D-Link DCS-3112 HD Day & Night Network Camera

D-Link just introduced the new HD Day & Night Network Camera, DCS-3112, which is ideal for SOHO or businesses to enhance their surveillance system capabilities. More details after the jump.

The DCS-3112 HD Day & Night Network Camera comes equipped with 1.3Megapixel CMOS sensor and a DC auto iris lens. This enables it to capture HD-720p high resolution images with frame rates up to 30fps. This ensures that you capture the details that you need. Snapshots and video can be saved to a local network drive via samba protocol. There is also an option to store it onboard through the built-in SD card slot.

The DCS-3112 incorporates Power over Ethernet (PoE), which allows it to be easily installed in a variety of locations, even when no power outlet is nearby. The DCS-3112 also includes Digital Input / Digital Output ports that allow connectivity to external devices such as IR sensors, switches, and alarm relays. An RS-485 interface provides connectivity to an optional pan/tilt enclosure which effectively adds pan/tilt functionality to the DCS-3112. An additional 12 V interface provides power for an optional LED illuminator to view in dark scene.

The included D-Link D-ViewCam software allows users to manage up to 32 D-Link network cameras on a single computer screen from a central location. Email notifications can be sent when an event occurs, such as when motion is detected, when a camera is moved, or if a link to camera is lost. Users can record snapshots and video automatically through motion-triggered recording, or according to a set schedule that is predefined.
