Grand Theft Auto V premieres on September 17, pre-order starts now!
As Grand Theft Auto V will be released officially on September 17, 2013 worldwide. X-Play Online Games, Inc., one of the country’s leading video game publisher and exclusive distributor of GTA V in the Philippines, will soon launch series creator Rockstar North’s latest epic, Grand Theft Auto V (GTA V), for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. More details after the jump.
Touted to be the biggest, most dynamic and most diverse open world ever created, GTA V introduces a bold new direction in storytelling, mission-based gameplay and online multiplayer experience.
Set at the sprawling sun-soaked metropolis of Los Santos, what was once the envy of the Western world is now plagued with self-help gurus, starlets and fading celebrities struggling to stay afloat in an era of economic uncertainty and cheap reality TV.
In the game, the player can assume the role of three very different criminals who work their minds for survival and success:
Franklin, a street hustler looking for real opportunities and serious money; Michael, a professional ex-con whose retirement is a lot less rosy than he hoped it would be; and Trevor, a violent maniac driven by the chance of a cheap high and the next big score.
Running out of options, the crew risks everything in a series of daring and dangerous heists that could set them up for life.
“We are very excited to launch GTA V in the country,” said Boni Ong, X-Play VP of Sales and Distribution, “Fans have a lot to look forward to with this continuing saga, with the game’s many exciting and explosive features, including new ways of players to repeatedly jump in and out of the lives of the game’s three lead characters, playing all sides of the game’s interwoven story.”
