Kata FishTab 3 Preview: Specs, Availability and Price in the Philippines
Kata Mobile, a Hong Kong based mobile phone applications research and device design specialist that arrived in the country last 2011 just unveiled on their Facebook page the soon-to-be-released 7.9-inch Android tablet called Kata FishTab 3, the successor to the 8-inch Android tablet the Kata T2. The Kata FishTab 3 is powered by a 1.8GHz quad-core Rockchip processor with Mali-400MP GPU, 2GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (expandable up to 64GB). It also comes with a 7.9-inch IPS LG display with a screen resolution of 768 x 1024, a 5MP main camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. It comes with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-box.
The Kata FishTab 3 will be available in the 3rd week of August with a suggested retail price of Php10,999. According to Owtel Shop, they will also throw in one leather case and screen protector when you buy from Kata kiosks and Owtel Shops.

OMG a mind blowing specs 1.8ghz quad (though CPU somewhat not known but will further do a research with it), 2gb RAM, the mali 400 of s3, IPS HD Display with front and rear cam. what should I ask for? hmmmm..... this could possibly be head to head with nexus 7 2nd gen

discount of 20% on their Kata FishTab 3 for a limited time (like 5pm-9pm) on
August 18, 2013. However, the unboxing event itself that day will be in SM City
Manila’s upper ground floor event center at 4pm. They’ll be having a raffle
draw for Kata FishTab 3 and will also have some giveaways. I was actually
urged to go to this event on Sunday since I wanted to get a hand of their
latest tablet. :D

ReplyDeleteI just bought mine Oct. 10... very disappointed, i cannot install applications more than 6Gb and cannot even be transferred to external microSD... go ahead and buy it, but i warned you, its not worth the price...
ReplyDeletemaybe what you are talking about this tab its uses the emulation method of memory management like it emulated some part of internal storage to make external storage which makes micro sd null in terms of application installation, so it needs some sort or memory swapping? anyways this kind of memory management known to even known brands and high-end phones and I hate it a lot. anyways if specs base + the price still this is a worth deal but hopefully this is not sort of disposable tab like cannot be repaired. by the way thank you for the infos :)
