Alongside the IdeaTab A3000, Lenovo also released its most affordable Android tablet called the Lenovo IdeaPad A1000! For only Php6,499 (SRP), the A1000 is ideal for first-time tablet buyers and features enhanced audio, while the A3000 comes with a quad-core processer for speedy performance. The A1000 was officially unveiled during the Mobile World Congress held last February along with the A3000 and S6000. More details after the jump.
The A1000 delivers an audio experience normally reserved for more expensive tablets in a seven- inch device. With Dolby Digital Plus (allows louder, more natural, distortion-free sound) integrated into the device and large, dual front-facing stereo speakers that are spaced apart for better stereo effects and to ensure the sound is directed at the users' ears rather than the floor, the A1000 is perfect for music lovers and those seeking a "pocket studio" for either music or movies.
The IdeaTab A1000's 7-inch (1024x600) display offers a clear and colorful viewing experience whether indoors or outside. The 72 percent color gamut screen delivers vivid video and pictures better than many screens on more expensive tablets. The A1000 runs Android Jelly Bean 4.2 on a 1.2GHz dual-core MediaTek MT8317 processor with PowerVR SGX531 GPU and has on-board storage of 4GB, extendable to 32GB with a micro-SD slot or USB OTG (On The Go), so users can load content up and take it to the gym, the office or anywhere else they want to experience high-quality sights and sounds.
It also comes in either black or white, the A1000 also comes with 3,500mAh battery that offers up to 8 hours of WiFi browsing and and up to 6 hours on video playback on a single battery charge.
