Alcatel One Touch Idol Alpha Announced

Alcatel has just announced its latest member of the One Touch family of Android smartphones called the Alcatel One Touch Idol Alpha. With the addition of metal case and exciting curves, the Idol Alpha also takes creativity to a new level with translucent edges, which illuminate in various modes such as charging, video, notifications and more to give a smarter experience.

Finely set in an aluminum metal frame with a 7.5mm thin body and a distinctive finish. The 4.7-inch edge-to-edge HD (1280 x 720) IPS display with 312ppi delivers the extraordinary floating lens idea and it is one of the kind. The Idol Alpha also sports a quad-core CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB), 13.1 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1.3 megapixel front-facing, 2,000mAh battery and runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

Pricing and Availability
The One Touch Alpha will make an appearance at the IFA in Berlin on September 6. No information yet on pricing but it is expected to arrive in Q4 of this year.
