D-Link launches the new DWR-116 Wireless N-300 3G/4G Router in the Philippines
D-Link has just launched the new D-Link DWR-116 Wireless N router. Designed to connect a 4G LTE or 3G USB adapter for mobile broadband connectivity, users will be able to share the incoming connection via a Wireless N 300 network, allowing for a wireless network to be set up anywhere there is a 4G or 3G broadband signal.
Maximum Portability
Simply insert a compatible 4G LTE/HSPA+/HSUPA/HSDPA/UMTS USB dongle to share the high speed 4G LTE internet connection wired and wirelessly. The DWR-116 also provides enhanced range and coverage compared to its predecessor with the new in-built 5dBi
external antennas.
Auto WAN Fail-Over for Uninterrupted Internet Connection
The DWR-116 supports broadband internet connection by connecting a DSL/Cable modem to its dedicated WAN port. Users can then set the broadband connection as the primary link, while the 3G/4G connection will act as backup link, or vice versa. The auto-failover feature ensures an uninterrupted connection by automatically triggered the backup link to take over whenever primary WAN link is lost.
Advanced Security Delivers Secure Connection
The DWR-116 ensures secure WiFi connection with support of WPA/WPA2 encryption to keep the wireless network safe. Users can quickly set up a secure connection to new devices by pressing the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) button. It also utilises dual active firewalls (SPI and NAT) to prevent potential attacks and intrusions across the Internet. The built-in QoS (Quality of Service) feature prioritizes traffic to ensure that the most important data receives optimum bandwidth.
Availability
The D-Link DWR-116 Wireless N-300 3G/4G Router will be available in Q3 2013 at authorized retailers, resellers and distribution partners.
