Cherry Mobile LIFE: Specs, Price and Availability in the Philippines

Cherry Mobile has just announced its newest dual core HSPA+ smartphone, the Cherry Mobile LIFE. For only Php2,999 (SRP), the phone is powered by the latest Android (4.2) Jelly Bean OS and uses a low-power dual-core SOC for entry-level smartphones called MediaTek MT6572 which integrates 3G/HSPA+, WiFi, Bluetooth, FM Radio and GPS. According to the specs posted by Cherry Mobile on their Facebook page, the Cherry Mobile LIFE also boasts a dual SIM, dual standby capability, 4-inch WVGA (800x480) display with 233ppi, 4GB of internal storage expandable up to 32GB, 512MB of RAM, 5MP autofocus main camera, VGA front camera and 1,500mAh battery.

    Is the Mali 400 GPU better than Flare 1′s Adreno 203 GPU for Gaming/UI Fluidity Performance?

    got this one today!! antutu benchmark score is 10,976.. quadrant benchmark score is 3,360.. no memory card po yan.. fair enough ba ang bench mark?? nag last yung initial charge nun phone for 7 hours.. light use lang.. open yung 3g/ mobile data nya ng download ng apps, social net, and light texting.. now initial charging n muna sya.. for the price na 2,999 sulit n sya.. ok yung performance nya as of now.. no hangs o lags.. smooth yung pag swipe responsive.. mejo d lng ok yung camera in low to med light.. the front cam is very poor.. usable ram nya is nsa 400mb+

    What fps test are you referring to, 2D or 3D? Then can you tell me what's the reason why adreno 203 cannot beat sgx531 in 3d graphics in any benchmarking tool like antutu and quadrant if it is really better? :) Sa 2D graphics I admit talong talo ni Adreno 203 ang PowerVRSGX531, but for 3D graphics, PowerVRSGX531 beats Adreno 203 at a small margin, but ano ba ang mas importante, 2D or 3D? That's why Google says Adreno 203 is better than SGX531 because they use the average of 2D and 3D as reference, but in fact SGX531 is better. ;) Ano ba ang ginagamit ng HD games, 2D or 3D? Kaya nga sa mga scores hindi masyadong binibigyan ng emphasis ang 2D score eh. ^_^

    only issue i have is with the camera. CM Flare's camera is better than CM Life even though they are both tagged as 5MP.

    in terms of apps and gaming, can't complain. got 11500 score in Antutu and was able to play Iron Man 3 and Despicable Me/Minion Rush smoothly on this phone
