LG G Pad 8.3 finally revealed in the Philippines, priced at Php16,990
The tablet that CNet praises for its “zippy performance, expandable memory, and crystal-clear screen” and Stuff Magazine calls an “unexpected gadget champ” is set to hit Philippine stores by the last week of November 2013. This was revealed during the NuffNang Blogopolis conference yesterday where LG Philippines showcased the tablet for the first time. More details after the jump.
Riding on the success of the much-awarded smartphone LG G2, the LG G Pad 8.3 is the first tablet created under LG’s premium G Series and the first 8-inch class tablet to offer a Full HD display. The G Pad is equipped with a 1920 x 1200 WUXGA (Widescreen Ultra Extended Graphics Array) display capable of delivering picture quality with even higher resolution than a standard Full HD display. In addition, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 Processor with 1.7GHz Quad-Core CPU enhances the viewing experience with powerful performance as users will be able to enjoy Full HD content without any compromise.
Despite its large display, the LG G Pad 8.3 features a slim and sleek form factor that is comfortable enough to hold in one hand. Such compact portability is based on LG's learning from consumers regarding the optimum size of a tablet. While maintaining its portability, the LG G Pad 8.3 squeezes in a powerful 4600mAh battery for long-lasting usage time but is still as light as a newspaper at just 338g.
The LG G Pad 8.3 also carries a range of user experience functions ideal for one’s day-to-day tasks. Useful features found in the LG G2 such as QSlide, Slide Aside, QuickRemote, and KnockON were maintained. Enhancing the G Pad are fresh features such as Life Square, which creates an integrated journal through a single click of photos, texts, videos, calendar events, Facebook posts, and tweets; and Guest Mode, but this time with Multi-User Function, which allows eight different people to use the G Pad through different codes which gain access to their own private and personalized apps.
