Starmobile Diamond S1 Preview: Specs, Price and Availability in the Philippines
Starmobile recently announced on their Facebook page that the Starmobile Diamond S1 is now available in Starmobile kiosks and stores nationwide for only Php8,990 (SRP). The S on the Diamond series stands for Style and the Starmobile Diamond S1 is a 5-inch quad-core phablet with a curved-edge display and scratch resistant glass. The beautiful Diamond S1 also packs a MediaTek MT6582M chipset with a 1.3GHz Quad Core processor + a Mali-400MP GPU which gives it enough power to breeze through multiple applications with ease. Both the 12MP rear and 3MP front cameras are equipped with BSI sensors for crystal clear photos.
The Diamond S1 runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and supports Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates, a feature which allows users to update their phones to the latest version of Android via Wi-Fi and without the need for a PC. It also has Starmobile Sync which allows you to quickly transfer Contacts, Messages, Calendar, and other data from your old phone of any brand to the Diamond S1 via Bluetooth.
