Nokia 20GB of free SkyDrive storage promo takes off!
Imagine 27 GB of storage space for your photos and videos that capture your precious moments and special memories. Imagine files and documents that you can bring with you without the extra weight of an external hard drive or a PC with tangled up cables. More details after the jump.
All this is possible because Nokia is boosting the cloud storage experience as they give customers an additional 20 GB of free SkyDrive storage over and above the 7 GB they already get, when they purchase a Lumia 1520, Lumia 1320, Lumia 1020, Lumia 925, Lumia 625, or Lumia 520 from participating Nokia Stores and retailers starting January 10 to 31, 2014.
SkyDrive provides users storage in the cloud to not only store files and sync them across multiple devices, but also edit and collaborate on Microsoft Office documents. Users can access the latest version of their files from any PC, tablet, or smartphone even without using cables or USB flash drives. SkyDrive also allows users to share photos and files through email, by sending a short link in a text message, or by posting them to a social network, your website, or right from SkyDrive.
With 27 GB of combined SkyDrive storage, you can access thousands of your favorite event photos, funny videos from your trips, heavy office presentations and other important documents wherever you go. Because your files are on SkyDrive, you are also assured that they are protected; you can easily get to them if something happens to your device.
To avail the extra 20 GB of free SkyDrive storage, customers must register their newly bought Lumia device on the online claim page at www.nokia.com/ph-en/20gbfree/redemption/ four (4) days from the day of purchase (no later than 12 MN PST on February 6, 2014). A redemption code with instructions will be sent back to the customer upon verifying their registration. Customers will then have until February 28, 2014 to redeem their free 20 GB of extra space at https://skydrive.live.com/options/ManageStorage. The extra 20 GB of SkyDrive storage will start on the day of redemption and will last for one year.
All you need to start using SkyDrive is a Microsoft account. If you have used Microsoft services in the past – like Xbox, Hotmail, Skype, or Outlook.com – you already have one. Get a Nokia Lumia device now to increase your SkyDrive storage to store, sync, and share more of your important files anytime.
