Cherry Mobile has just announced its newest budget dual-core HSPA+ smartphone for first-time Android users, the Cherry Mobile Quartz. For only Php2,499 (SRP), Quartz is part of the 7 gemstones that Cherry Mobile is set to release this April. More details after the jump.
The Cherry Mobile Quartz packs a 4-inch capacitive display, 256MB of RAM, 2GB of internal storage (expandable up to 32GB via microSD card), 3MP rear camera with VGA at front, 1,200mAh battery and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. The phone is powered by a a 1GHz low-power dual-core SOC for entry-level smartphones called MediaTek MT6572M which integrates WiFi, 3G/HSPA+, Bluetooth, FM Radio and comes equipped with Mali 400 GPU.
