MyPhone Rio Over-the-air (OTA) software update is now available!

Good news to all lucky owners of MyPhone Rio! MyPhone has just announced on its Facebook page the availability of an Over-the-air (OTA) software update for the said device with V1.11! This update (V1.15) contains improvements and fixes, like installing apps on the SD card, system update function can now be found in the main menu and removal of some apps (PinoyPhone App and others). Here's how to update your phone to the latest software update after the jump.

Procedures:
Only for MyPhone Rio V1.11 to V1.15

1. Go to "Settings"
2. Choose "About phone".
3. Then "System updates"
4. And, click "DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL"

Updating to v1.15 will fix the following:

1. The apps can be installed to SD card now
2. Put system update function in the main menu
3. Removed some apps (PinoyPhone App and others)

Note:

• You must have a consistent data or WiFi connection to avoid interruption.
• For version V1.06, just wait for MyPhone's official announcement. So, stay tuned!
