ASUS launches VivoPC, M70 and new home entertainment products in the Philippines

Just last Wednesday, ASUS unveiled two new products, the VivoPC and the M70 desktop at the Fraser Place, Makati City, last Wednesday, May 28. Built for simplicity, yet teeming with performance, the two desktops sport a unique design and come with the exclusive ASUS SonicMaster Audio. The two devices, together with various ASUS products, were displayed and arranged in a typical home setting for the media to view and test.
Also part of ASUS displays were a monitor, a router, and a gaming headset. Exhibited together with the VivoPC was the ASUS VX279H, a Full HD AH-IPS LED monitor with 178° wide-view angle in frameless design. The M70 was showcased and partnered with two devices: the RT-AC68U router and the Cerberus gaming headset. The RT-AC68U is the fastest router in the world and features a dual-core processor for responsive performance and USB 3.0 support. Lastly, the Cerberus is a gaming headset equipped with 60mm neodymium-magnet drivers for big bass, with 100mm over-ear cushions for noise isolation making them perfect for noisy environments such as LAN events or shared areas.
The ASUS VivoPC
The VivoPC is a compact PC that’s ideal for home productivity and entertainment applications. Just 56mm tall and with a footprint smaller than a sheet of A4 paper, VivoPC slips easily into the smallest of spaces, and has a stylish spun metal finish to complement both home offices and living rooms. The VivoPC features ASUS SonicMaster audio technology for incredible sound quality with external speakers and high-performance 802.11ac Wi-Fi for smooth HD video streaming and seamless web browsing.
Despite its compact dimensions, VivoPC is also well-equipped when it comes to expandability. A sliding case cover gives quick access to the two internal memory slots and the drive bay can accommodate a 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch SATA 6Gbit/s hard drive.
The ASUS M70
The ASUS M70 desktop PC is available with the latest 4th generation Intel Core i3/i5/i7 dual-core processors for productive multitasking and energy efficiency, users have the option to pair that with a variety of NVIDIA GeForce discrete graphics to tailor the M70 for their multimedia needs.
ASUS SonicMaster audio technology, together with MaxxAudio from Waves, recipient of a Technical GRAMMY Award, gives immersive and impactful audio delivery for a cinematic entertainment. The M70 also comes with the ASUS AudioWizard interface, allowing them to tailor sound settings with five modes for music, movies, games, voice recording, and speech. The M70 features an aggressively angled tower case with a polished metal finish. LED indicators housed within the chassis reflect the operational state of any attached external USB storage device.
The M70 also features an ASUS Wireless Charger tray for wireless recharging of smartphones and tablets that support the Qi inductive power standard even when computer is shut down. ASUS Ai Charger is a utility that provides faster recharge times for your mobile devices through USB 3.0 even when the M70 is shut down.

The two products will be available in the Philippines on the second week of June 2014. Both products are bundled with wireless ASUS mouse and keyboard. The M70 comes with a complimentary ASUS VX239H monitor.
