Epson introduces new models to expand award-winning L-Series Original Ink Tank Printers
Epson, the world’s first, and to date the only printer maker to offer genuine ink tank system printers, announced the launch of the latest models in the award winning L-Series Original Ink Tank Printers. With four new models being introduced into the market - the L120, L1300, L1800 and L555 - Epson continues to offer an incredible print volume at the lowest cost per page of any genuine supplies printer.
The new range of L-Series printers continues to provide for all level of users from the more affordable, high-speed L120, which offers SOHO and small businesses the option of a highly reliable, low cost document printer with a small footprint, to the all-in-one, super high ink capacity L555 with fax, Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) and wireless printing flexibility for medium sized businesses that need speed and reliability.

- High Speed, Volume and Reliability – For small to medium business owners, productivity is key and the new range of L-Series printers offer print speeds of up to 15 ipm for the business printers and up to 45 seconds per 4R print for the photo printers. - Ultra high performing and reliable Epson Micro Piezo print head – The Epson L-Series printers were created utilizing Epson’s multi award-winning Micro Piezo technology. Highly reliable and more durable than competing thermal print head technology, Micro Piezo print heads are built into the printer and are capable of printing high volume. This allows the L-Series printers to achieve a low running cost while still providing high quality prints. The Micro Piezo print head achieves a maximum print resolution of 5760 x 1440 dpi and its variable size droplet technology (VSDT) allows the print head to eject ink droplets in multiple sizes, ensuring the greatest detail and extremely smooth gradations in documents or photographs.
- Print wirelessly from mobile devices with Epson iPrint – The new L-Series includes the L555, which is the world’s first original ink tank system with fax and Wi-Fi capabilities. This means that users of the L555 will be able to use the free Epson iPrint app to wirelessly print items like documents, web pages and photos using either Apple iOS or Google android mobile devices. The Epson iPrint app also allows users to scan items using the L555 printer and have the images saved to their mobile devices or stored online to their cloud storage services.
