Starmobile Up now official: Specs, Price and Availability (Updated)
Starmobile recently unveiled the Starmobile Up, a 5-inch IPS quad core Android KitKat smartphone with Double Tap to Wake/Sleep, Call & Text Filtering and Multipoint Gestures. More about the Starmobile Up specs and features after the jump.
The Starmobile Up is equipped with a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD slot), 2MP front camera and a 8MP autofocus rear camera with BSI technology and LED flash.
The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and supports Over-The-Air (OTA) software updates, a feature which allows users to update their phones to the latest version of Android via Wi-Fi and without the need for a PC. It also has Starmobile Sync which allows you to quickly transfer Contacts, Messages, Calendar, and other data from your old phone of any brand to the device via Bluetooth.
The Starmobile Up has a Double Tap to Wake/Sleep feature as well as Intelligent pattern recognition that lets you control your smartphone like never before. A Call and Text Filtering which restrict incoming SMS and voice calls for privacy. You can also transfer apps to your SD Card.
The Starmobile Up comes in two colors (black and white) and is now available in Starmobile kiosks and concept stores for only Php4,990 (SRP). Also included in the box of the Starmobile Up: Unit, Compact charger, microUSB cable, USB-OTG cable, Screen protector, Flip cover, Quick start card, Headset with mic, Battery and Warranty card.
