AOC recently announced the brand new AOC 61-Series Monitor range. Stylish appearance with narrow border

The narrow border on AOC 61-Series is just less than 7.5mm wide, ideally suited for use in dual monitor or multiple monitor setups. What’s more, the AOC 61-Series is ultra thin, with thickness of only 18mm. The chic and fashionable appearance is highlighted by a metal framed panel and wine-red rear cover, where the OSD control buttons are hidden. AOC 61-Series can be wall-mounted to free up space and transform your home into a place of style and elegance. The dual-function stand with removable base allows you to transform the monitor into a glamorous free-standing frame whenever you want.

Vivid image and Clear Vision
AOC 61-Series utilizes ultra-high Dynamic Contrast Ratio (DCR) of 50,000,000:1, allowing the user to see darker areas of content with greater depth. The Clear Vision function is an image performance engine that can convert content from Standard Definition (SD) to High Definition (HD) and deliver clearer and more vivid images.

Extremely high compatibility and environmentally friendly settings
Designed to meet high environmental standards, AOC 61-Series is made of environmentally preferable materials including mercury-free LED displays. AOC 61-Series consumes 50% less power than traditional monitors with 4CCFL panels. An intelligent Power Saving Mode enables the monitor to use only 50% power compared to normal operating condition without affecting the user. The HDMI port is compatible with the latest multimedia sources including DVD and Blu-ray players or gaming consoles.

Availability
AOC 61-Series Monitors are available in two screen sizes: 21.5-inch and 23.6-inch. It is expected to be available in the Asia Pacific region starting from October 2012 through AOC partners.
