It’s finally here. The hottest cars of 2015! Here, will give you a better glimpse of different cars that will soon launch in the marketplace. Car brands like Honda, Mitsubishi, Subaru, Nissan, BMW, Porsche, Audi and Bentley, are joining the parade of cars to watch out for in 2015. Here are the top 10 cars that motoring gearheads and enthusiast craves for after the jump.
2015 Subaru Legacy and Outback
Imagine driving an executive car with smooth, comfortable and with Rally-bred driving experience. These are the features of the all-new, sixth-generation Subaru Legacy.
With the disappearance of the hood scoop of the Legacy, Subaru is aiming to target the conservative type individuals and families who love more function than heavy kits.
Powered by a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder boxer engine, the Legacy provides a decent 175 horsepower and 235 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the Legacy sibling in SUV form—the Outback—offers a unique crossover look from its body, bigger tires, and rugged fenders. Power is exceptional with either 4-cylinder or 6-cylinder boxer engine configurations. Both cars are equipped with 18-inch tires and with improved larger cabin. The price? Unfortunately, there’s no official release from Subaru.
2015 Ford Everest
After its public debut at the Manila International Motor Show, Ford is upping their game with the arrival of their much-awaited mid-sized SUV—Ford Everest. Without a doubt, the new Everest promise to bring a lot of excitement for car enthusiast as the vehicle draws a new body and face with excellent ride quality and handling.
Up-front, the new Everest comes with muscular hood, huge bumpers, and integrated headlamps with signature LED daytime running lights. Power-wise, the all-new Everest will be available in three variants—the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder EcoBoost, the 3.2-liter Duratorq 5-cylinder turbo diesel engine, and the 2.2-liter Duratorq 4-cylinder engine.
2015 Mitsubishi Strada
Dubbed as the “Ultimate Utility Sports Truck”, the Mitsubishi Strada will directly compete with top brands like the Ford Ranger, Isuzu D-Max, and the Toyota Hilux.
For 2015, the new Strada is available in three engine variants—the 2.4-liter MIVEC turbo diesel, 2.5-liter Di-D with VGT, and 2.4-liter gasoline engine. As expected, interiors are improved with much comfort and space.
2015 Nissan NP300 Navara
Nissan is back again in the business as they launched their ever-reliable pickup—the Nissan NP300 Navara. Sources said, the NP300 Navara will launch this March.
According to Nissan, the Navara is powered by 2.5-liter common rail diesel with VGT engine producing 160 hp and 403 Nm of maximum torque. All mated to either 7-speed automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission.
Standard features of Navara include electronic driving aids such as hill start assist, hill descent control, traction control and vehicle dynamics control.
2015 Porsche 911 GTS and Macan GTS
For 2015, Porsche will make a huge banner in the sports car and Crossover segment as they plan to bring this year the Porsche 911 GTS and Macan GTS. The Porsche 911 GTS is available in the coupe or convertible with either a rear or all-wheel drive system.
Engine-wise, the 911 GTS is equipped with 3.8-liter six-cylinder engine. On the exterior, the car comes with a black trim strips, wider rear fenders, 20-inch wheels, and black chrome-plated exhaust tailpipes. Meanwhile, the heavy artillery Macan GTS features LED daytime running lights, high-performance brakes, and four-tailpipe exhaust system. Its engine might come out with 360 hp that can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in roughly five seconds.
2015 BMW 2 Series Active Tourer
With the arrival of small cars in the Metro, BMW will change the future in launching its 2-series Active Tourer.
With a size measure at 170.9 inches in length and 61.4 inches tall, the 2-series is the second BMW model to be equipped with three-cylinder engine. Inside, there’s a myriad of gadgetries such as parking aids, new-gen telematics functionality, stop-and-go capabilities, and full LED headlights.
Mini Cooper 5-door hatchback
After winning the most coveted “Car-of-the-Year” awards, Mini has high hopes of retaining its title by introducing their new Mini 5-door hatchback.
The new 5-door hatchback will come out in four engine options from 1.5-liter twinpower turbo, 1.5-liter twinpower turbo diesel, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder twinpower turbo diesel, and 2.0-liter 4-cylinder twinpower turbo in Cooper S.
2015 Bentley Flying Spur V8
Power and Luxury. This is what the 2015 Bentley Flying Spur V8 is all about. Exterior-wise, the Flying Spur V8 comes with a large jewel LED headlamps, sharper fender vents, contemporary design lines, and upright grille.
The Flying Spur V8 is equipped with 4.0-liter V8 twin-turbocharged engine that produces 507 ps of power and 660 Nm of torque. It is mated with 8-speed quick-shift transmission that gives driver an unforgettable driving experience.
