The Covenant Car Company Incorporated introduced the new 2015 Chevrolet Colorado Tracker Edition – an off-road ready version of Chevrolet’s tough pickup truck, displayed at the 2015 Manila International Auto Show at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.
Equipped with the 2nd generation Duramax turbo-diesel engine that churns out a class-leading 200hp, the Chevrolet Colorado Tracker Edition will be offered as the top of the line 4×4 six-speed manual transmission variant with a starting price of P1,588,888. Designed to cater to the lifestyle needs of cross-country enthusiasts, the new Chevrolet Colorado Tracker is fitted with new features that more off-road capabilities to face any rough road adventure with confidence.
Along with its one ton payload capacity, the new pickup truck will be equipped with outdoor enhancements including, a 12,000 lbs power winch to tow anything or everything from a stuck vehicle on sand to loading a boat on a trailer, skid plates to prevent damage on the truck’s underside and all-terrain tires to handle coarse roads.
The new Chevrolet Colorado Tracker features two inches of height increase and is expected to set a new record for water-wading depth capacity from its current record of 800mm. The Tracker is also the first in its class to feature a Tire Pressure Monitoring System which digitally displays real time tire pressure of the vehicle for added safety while going off-road.
With all its new features, the Chevrolet Colorado Tracker is set to exceed midsize pickup truck standards and offer the market a more versatile and off-road ready companion to challenge their cross-country escapades.
