MyPhone RIO 2 Specs, Price and Availability Now Official
Alongside the RIO 2 Lite, MyPhone has officially announced its update to the bestselling RIO smartphone - the new RIO 2. For only Php5,499 (SRP), the RIO 2 package is now available nationwide and comes with a free Globe SIM that has free 100MB data every month for one year just like the company’s Android One device, the Uno.
The MyPhone RIO 2 features the same 5-inch IPS HD display and now with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The processor is a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage (expandable up to 64GB). The device also packs a much larger battery of 2,800mAh up from 2,000mAh. MyPhone RIO 2 and ships with Android 5.0 Lollipop with My OS 1.0 UI.
On the camera side, the MyPhone RIO 2 camera has been upgraded to 8MP Sony sensor + Blue Glass technology for the main camera, while the front facing camera is an upgraded 5MP from 2MP.
