ArdentComm organizes AFP Social Media Summit for 2nd consecutive year
On the heels of the success of the first AFP Social Media Summit last year, the Armed Forces of the Philippines once again sought the expertise of Ardent Communications Inc. to mount the AFP Social Media Summit 2015 held on June 23 at the AFP Theatre, Camp Aguinaldo. Over 1,300 Information Officers from various units of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, Department of National Defense, Philippine National Police, academic institutions and other government organizations and agencies attended the summit, exceeding last year’s number of participants.
ArdentComm, one of the leading marketing communications firms in the Philippines, took charge of the overall execution of the summit whose theme this year was “Connect, Respond, Share: Advancing Patriotism in the Age of Internet of Things”. The invited resource speakers discussed pressing subject matters involving social media, including such topics as: the role of social media in peace building; and best practices in building social media plan for organizations, among others. The summit aimed to enhance and synergize AFP’s online reputation management, and to strengthen nationalism and public service awareness through online presence.
Offering a mix of communication methods and strategies, ArdentComm provides public relations, direct marketing, digital marketing, advertising, and graphic design services.
