Suzuki Ertiga, Celerio winners at 11th C! Magazine Awards
Suzuki Philippines, a leading maker of top-quality compact and fuel-efficient automobiles in the country, bagged two best-in-class awards during the 11th edition of the annual C! Magazine Awards held at The Palms Country Club last September.
The All-New Suzuki Celerio was awarded as the Best-in-Class Mini Compact Hatchback primarily because of its A+ compact build — a concept that steps up on the strengths and exceeds the limits of the A-segment car by implementing the “small on the outside, big on the inside” idea. It sports the same dynamic and easy-to-maneuver design which Suzuki compact cars are known for, while offering spacious room for passengers and relatively huge luggage capacity.
Suzuki Ertiga, on the other hand, was awarded the Best-in-Class Compact People Carrier for its roomy interior, pleasant exterior design and ride quality. The Ertiga is the first Life Utility Vehicle (LUV) that promises improved features to deliver great performance, outstanding comfort and excellent fuel efficiency. It takes a completely different approach to the very competitive compact 7-seater MPV or multi-purpose utility vehicle market.
SPH General Manager for Automobile Shuzo Hoshikura shared, “Research and development entail enormous time and resources, without which iconic products like the Celerio and Ertiga cannot be possible. Behind the development and manufacturing of these Suzuki automobiles is an endless quest to ensure that the road experience of Suzuki patrons is constantly improved. The recognition by C! Magazine is a comforting sign that we are on the right track.”
“We at Suzuki Philippines, on behalf of our mother company Suzuki Motor Corporation Japan, would like to dedicate these awards to our valued customers who are our inspiration in developing and manufacturing premium and reliable cars. These awards are for them,” Mr. Hoshikura added.
The C! Magazine Awards is an annual event that honors the local auto industry’s best vehicles. Recognized models are reviewed and considered based on all aspects of the vehicle, from standard performance strengths and weaknesses to after-sales performance, cost/ease of maintenance, resale values, value for money, aesthetics, and so much more.
