Suzuki Swift 1.2 bags Best Value for Money trophy at Auto Focus Media’s Choice Awards
Suzuki Philippines, a pioneer manufacturer of top-quality compact and fuel-efficient automobiles in the country, once again demonstrated its caliber by taking home a coveted distinction for one of its iconic models at the recently concluded Auto Focus Media’s Choice Awards (AFMCA) 2015 held last October 16 at Valle Verde Country Club in Pasig City.
The award-winning and best-selling Suzuki Swift 1.2, a perfect subcompact car for first-time car owners, won this year’s Best Value for Money award in the Subcompact category. Its premium features, thoughtfully designed interior and exterior, amazing fuel efficiency, powerful engine performance and its economical retail price helped it clinch the title and be handpicked by the panel of motoring media professionals and practitioners among the subcompact cars available in the local market.
Suzuki Philippines recently rolled out the new Swift 1.2 with distinctly bolder features than its predecessor. Externally, the 1.2-liter Swift gets a new front grille and fog lamp bezel complete with chrome accent. The front bumper design shows a new scheme with sharper edges for a fiercer bearing. Moreover, the alloy wheels have been enhanced with wider spokes.
Inside, part of its rear seatback folds down for added cargo space when needed. Additionally, the improved Swift 1.2 flashes a new touchscreen multimedia and navigation-ready audio unit that will give ease to any Swift 1.2 owner.
Now on its 11th year, the AFMCA gets the pulse from motorists and the motoring media professionals as to which vehicles in the local market stand out, and awards the best among them in terms of performance, design and overall value.
