ESL One Manila: EHOME confirm spot

EHOME, arguably the best Chinese Dota 2 team, have today confirmed their spot at ESL One Manila 2016. Set to take place from April 23-24 at the Mall of Asia in the Philippine’s capital city, competition will award US$250,000 in prize money to teams from all across the word. EHOME are the first of eight teams to lock in to the tournament: one remains to be invited with a further six to come through regional qualifiers (two from South East Asia, one from the Philippines, one from the United States and one from Europe).

The Chinese giants were invited off the back of what has been a roll for them in professional competition: they won both the Dota 2 Radiant & Dire Cup along with the Shanghai Dota 2 Open and prior to that placed fourth at the Frankfurt Major presented by ESL – the best performance by any Chinese team present.
