ADATA Showcases Full Industrial Product Range at Embedded World 2017
ADATA Technology, a leading manufacturer of high performance DRAM modules and NAND Flash products, is pleased to confirm participation in Embedded World 2017, the premiere embedded systems and industrial PC trade show in Europe. The event is scheduled for March 14-16, taking place in Nuremberg, Germany. ADATA is fielding its entire industrial-grade portfolio, covering SSDs, SD cards, and CFast products that now use new-generation 3D NAND. Pure Internet of Things (IoT) products such as smart gateways, trackers, and sensors will be on show, alongside exemplary solutions for industrial box PCs, railway management, panel computers, and casino gaming machine controls. ADATA expects Embedded World 2017 to be the most fruitful and exciting yet after years of taking part in the event.
3D NAND goes industrial
ADATA consumer SSDs have almost entirely transitioned to 3D NAND Flash. Now, the company is moving its industrial offerings to the newer technology, which offers higher density, improved energy efficiency, and longer lifespans – all essentials for industrial and enterprise users. ADATA industrial SD cards and CFast products are also moving to 3D NAND, with all memory chips passing extra-strict sorting and testing. One of the most advanced 3D NAND-based industrial SSDs from ADATA is the IM2P3388, built in the M.2 2280 form factor and using PCIe3X4. It delivers 2500MB/s read and 1100MB/s write, coupled with extreme heat, cold, shock, and vibration tolerance.
Sensing the move to IoT
ADATA has expanded its range of smart trackers, sensors, and gateways, helping users maintain completely networked environments. Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) trackers provide detailed location info for high importance items and personnel, while similar LPWA technology is used on ADATA parking sensors to make even large facilities easily manageable. For the first time, ADATA will be showcasing its own smart gateways, including LPWA gateways that bring together different networks and servers to create large cloud-based environments. Smart bridge products extend wireless connectivity range with minimal power draw.
Anti-corrosive and wide temperature range
ADATA industrial-grade SSDs and memory modules all must meet the strictest anti-corrosion and temperature tolerance requirements. They provide long-lasting products that can continue working even if exposed to harsh environments, including moisture, humidity, acidity, heat, and cold (typically -40 to 95 degrees Celsius).
Live demos at the booth
Guests will be able to experience the super-fast performance of the IM2P3388, plus a complete industrial networking application built in cooperation with MSI. The demo system includes ADATA IM2S3134N M.2 2280 SSDs, industrial-grade DDR3L SO-DIMM, and ISMS331 SATA Disk on Module (DOM). The networking application features IP67 dust and waterproof certification, demonstrating high durability and wide temperature tolerance.
