CSC RO VI invites job seekers to join 2019 Government Job Fair on September 27, 2019

The Civil Service Commission Regional Office VI is gearing up for the 2019 Government Job Fair which will be held on September 27, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at SM City Iloilo Northwing Activity Center. Fourteen (14) government agencies and six (6) private organizations including two (2) overseas recruitment agencies will cater to hundreds of qualified civil service eligible and job seekers.

The Government Job Fair is a strategy to market highly qualified civil service eligible to government agencies, make accessible, transparent, and open vacancies in the government for the public, and place talented graduates and job seekers in the government service. This year’s Job Fair however also allows highly competent job seekers to apply to private agencies as well consider overseas employment opportunities.

This Government Job Fair is one of the highlights of the 119th Philippine Civil Service Anniversary celebration in Western Visayas with the theme CSC at 119: Upholding Integrity and Building a High-Trust Society.

If you wish to join the 2019 Government Job Fair on September 27, 2019 at SM City Iloilo Northwing Activity Center, here are some important reminders:

• Check the list of Participating Agencies and the vacant positions available, please click this link.
• The job fair will start at 10:00 AM and will end at 8:00 PM.
• The National Skills Registration Program Registration Form should be filled-out legibly with a ball pen. Print in block letters and check appropriate boxes. Do not leave any items unanswered. Indicate “NA” if not applicable. You may use extra sheet/s if needed. 
• Prepare a cover letter addressed to the Head of Agency. Ensure that it is professionally written and should convey to your prospective employer your intention to apply for a particular vacant position.
• Accomplish the Personal Data Sheet with recent passport-sized picture together with the Work Experience Sheet. You may also download the Revised Guide to Filling Up the Personal Data Sheet.
• Make sure that you have photocopies of your transcript of records, certificate of eligibility/rating/license, and performance rating in the last rating period (if applicable).
