Sony has announced “Pawgraphy”, an initiative that encourages paw parents to celebrate the love of their furry four-legged companions through the lens of photography and casual video shooting by posting pawsome photos and videos of themselves and their fur kids on social media.

The Alpha 7C and Digital Camera ZV-1 deliver an unprecedented shooting experience, empowering pet lovers to capture charming photos and videos with their pets for social media sharing

Recently, Filipinos have been spending much more time at home whether it be work or play. This has resulted in an increase in pet ownership and a trendy new wave of pet owners sharing photos and videos of themselves with their pet on social media platforms. This allows them to remember the moment and share these wonderful memories with their family, friends and other pet lovers. Some pets even have their own Facebook and Instagram accounts to update their fans on their daily lives.

Sony will also be providing platforms for pet owners to learn about their camera offerings in real time to master the art of shooting photos and videos of themselves with their fluffy companion. Pet owners can also enhance their social media content and make them stand out, using Sony’s advanced camera offerings.

Sony is committed to the pet photography and videography market and will continue to support and engage pet lovers to empower them to easily capture memories and moments of them with their beloved pets.

Pawgraphy Microsite
Pet lovers can visit the tailor-made Pawgraphy microsite crafted by Sony to access a bevy of resources and tutorials made to enrich paw parents aspiring to take beautiful photos and videos of them with their pets. Among these will be a basic introduction to pet photography and casual videography, aimed at inspiring beginners to strive for quality. Other users can make use of videos containing tips and tricks for pet photography and videography as well as gear recommendations to best suit the bespoke needs of their Pawgraphy journey. In the future, these will also be accompanied by Pawgraphy workshops so pet lovers can enrich their skills and learn together on how to take better photos and videos of them with their fur babies.

Introduction/Tutorial Videos
A limited series of videos containing practical tips and tricks for pet photography and videography hosted by pet owner and photographer - Ainsley Yip and pet owner and videographer Shawne Koh, will be made exclusively available on the microsite. Designed to help casual photographers and casual video shooters capture stunning photos and videos effortlessly, these videos will cover a variety of topics such as:

• A video designed to teach casual pet photographers to make the most of a limited lighting situation. Additionally, it covers the best settings on cameras to shoot in the dark as well as how to transfer pictures to phone instantly while shooting.

• A crash course on how to capture high intensity action shots at the beach and in parks. This comes coupled with how to capture interesting expressions and poses and how to ensure photos are not blurry during these brief explosive moments.

• Practical advice on how to engage pets and create both stationery and action shots at home. As well as this, techniques to achieving nice composition at home and easy picture transfer tutorials are also shared.
