realme C67 Unboxing and Review
realme recently launched its latest addition to the C Series, the realme C67, via an online livestream on its Facebook and TikTok page. This launch came after the successful release of the realme Note 50.
Dubbed as "Champion Redefined", this premium entry-level smartphone boasts a 108MP main camera, a 6.72-inch 90Hz FHD+ display, 8GB RAM with realme's Dynamic RAM Expansion technology, and IP54 dust and water resistance. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W SUPERVOOC charging. Similar to the realme C-series last year, it also features a Mini Capsule.
In this review, I'll explore the capabilities of this smartphone and see if it's the right one for you. Let's start with the unboxing process, shall we?
Unboxing the realme C67
The packaging of the realme C67 comes in its signature yellow-colored box, as expected. The front of the box displays the branding of the phone, while the back portion contains the model number, IMEI number, serial number, color, and six key features of the realme C67.
Inside the Box and Accessories
Once you open the lid, you will see realme's latest slogan - Make it real. Inside the pack, you will find a SIM card ejector tool, a protective silicone case, and an information guide which includes the Warranty Card.
Revealed underneath, you will find the realme C67 smartphone wrapped in white matte plastic. Along with the smartphone, there is a USB-C to USB-A charging cable and a 33W SUPERVOOC Charging Adapter. Please note that the realme C67 does not come with a headset, so you will have to provide your own.
Design and Walk Around
The realme C67 design was inspired from nature, featuring two different colors - Sunny Oasis and Black Rock. Mine is in the Sunny Oasis color. The device's back panel is crafted from a three-color gradient coating process, which comprised of individual stripes that are visible from different angles depending on the light source.
On the front, the realme C67 is equipped with a large 6.72-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2400) IPS display. In the center of the display, you'll find an 8MP hole-punch camera, while the earpiece is discreetly etched into the enclosure. The phone also comes with a pre-installed screen protector for added protection.
The camera module of this device features a "Dual Golden Lens Mount" with gold-colored halo rings around the lenses on the rear cameras. The design is streamlined with a pill-shaped streak. The device has two cameras - the 108MP main camera and the 2MP depth lens.
Found on the left side is the card tray with a 3-card slot for two nano-SIM cards and a dedicated slot for a microSD card capable of up to 2TB of expandable storage.
On the right are your standard volume rocker button and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor that is embedded in the power button.
The top is clean with only the secondary noise-canceling microphone present.
Located at the bottom of the phone, you can find the USB Type-C charging port, downward-firing speaker, microphone, and 3.5mm audio jack.
The realme C67 boasts a slim and lightweight body, measuring only 7.59mm in thickness and weighing 185 grams. The phone's design is well-considered, featuring a squared-off box-type build with rounded edges at the corners for added comfort and ease of one-handed use.
Display and Multimedia
The realme C67 is equipped with a large 6.72-inch IPS display with FHD+ (1080 x 2400) resolution. With a screen-to-body ratio of 91.4%, a refresh rate of 90Hz, and a touch response rate of 180Hz, this phone promises a smooth and responsive display that's perfect for those who value a seamless user experience.
The IPS screen of the realme C67 produces good colors and decent viewing angles. The screen can get bright at 800 nits and can go up to 950 nits of peak brightness, but it could use a bit more boost for comfortable outdoor use.
The stereo speakers on the realme C67 are decent and have the ability to produce loud sound, which is a positive aspect considering that most devices available in this price range have a single downward-firing loudspeaker. However, it is advised to use headphones or a Bluetooth-enabled external speaker to enjoy better quality audio.
Camera
Rear Camera
The highlight of the realme C67 is its camera system. It has a dual-camera system with a 108MP F1.8 primary camera and a Samsung HM6 sensor. The main 108MP camera is also paired with a 2MP F.2.4 lens that acts as a depth sensor to help with portrait shots.
The standard photo mode can capture 12MP shots and has up to 3x In-Sensor Zoom for lossless quality. The Portrait Mode can also take 3x Lossless Portrait photos with the same zoom feature.
The camera app has a dedicated "108MP Mode" for high-quality full 108MP resolution photos. It also includes previous-generation features such as Street Mode, Tilt-Shift, and Dual-View Video. Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) is integrated to help avoid blurs when capturing photos and videos.
Under bright lighting conditions, the rear cameras capture vibrant and accurate colors with crisp and sharp details. However, the dynamic range needs to be improved in some scenarios.
For indoor and low light, photos can be muddy in certain situations even with the Night Mode feature turned on, still, it is good enough and usable for casual social media postings.
Front Selfie Camera
The realme C67 is equipped with an 8MP front camera with an F2.1 aperture. It comes with realme’s usual camera UI features for taking selfies.
The front camera is capable of producing decent-quality photos, particularly in well-lit conditions. However, the background blurring for portrait selfies is not perfect, but it still manages to do a good job.
Video
For video, the realme C67 captures videos up to 1080p@30fps with its main and front-facing cameras. There is no 4K mode and 60fps shooting, but there is an always-on electronic image stabilization (EIS) called Ultra Steady.
The recorded video from the main camera produces good colors, contrast, and dynamic range.
realme UI U Edition, Apps, and Security
The realme C67 smartphone comes with the next generation of realme UI, which has been developed following the "realme UI T Edition" on the realme C53 and realme C51. The UI is based on Android 14 and has been specifically designed for realme C Series smartphones to deliver an optimized overall user experience. The user interface is clean, easy to navigate and comes pre-installed with Google's standard app suite along with some unnecessary applications.
The realme C67 now features the latest Mini Capsule 2.0 with enhanced functions, including Event Reminders, Weather Notifications, and Music Playback Control with sound wave animation and swipe controls.
For security, the realme C67 comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button, as well as a facial recognition feature for device unlocking. The fingerprint sensor works quickly and accurately, but the face unlock feature may slow down in low-light situations.
Hardware and Performance
The realme C67 is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor that is power-efficient. This processor is manufactured using a 6nm process and has four Cortex-A73 cores that can clock up to 2.8GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores that can clock up to 1.9GHz. It also comes with an Adreno 610 GPU.
The realme C67 performs smoothly for casual and moderate tasks; and for graphics-intensive games, the gaming experience is tolerable with slight stutters and lags. To improve your gameplay, it is recommended to use medium to lowest settings.
Moreover, the realme C67 supports Dynamic RAM Expansion technology which allows you to expand your phone's RAM virtually by using the phone's internal storage. You can select and use up to either 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB of your storage to act as RAM.
The realme C67 is available in two storage variants in the Philippines - 128GB and 256GB. In my unit with 128GB of storage, the phone used 21GB out of the box. If you need additional storage, you can further expand the storage up to 2TB via its dedicated microSD card slot.
Additionally, the realme C67 comes with an IP54 Dust & Water Resistance rating for added peace of mind in case of accidental splashes and other incidents.
Below are the benchmark scores from this device:
- AnTuTu v10.2.1 – 317,949

Battery and Connectivity
The realme C67 comes equipped with a 5,000mAh battery that can last a whole day of moderate usage without requiring an additional charge. In the PCMark Work 3.0 Battery Life Test, the device scored around 20 hours and 13 minutes.
Furthermore, the realme C67 is bundled with a 33W SUPERVOOC charger that can charge the 5,000mAh battery from 0% to 50% in just 26 minutes, and from 0% to 100% in 1 hour and 13 minutes.
In addition to the battery and charger, the realme C67 offers standard connectivity features such as dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by), 4G LTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C.
