Design and Walk Around
The vivo V30 Pro boasts the same “View Catcher Design” as the V30, which is an eye catcher. Unlike the V30, the vivo V30 Pro is available in only one color variant, Petals White. This color option features a "3D Petal Pattern" that looks like blooming flowers and unfurling petals. Additionally, this design is less susceptible to fingerprint smudges and scratches.
The vivo V30 Pro is a dual-glass curved phone with a plastic frame, weighing a bit heavier than the V30 at 188g. For the thickness, the vivo V30 Pro comes at 7.45 mm same as the V30.
The phone's front side boasts a large 6.78-inch 1.5K (1260 x 2800) AMOLED display that is safeguarded by a curved "Schott α" glass along with a pre-installed screen protector. The screen's top portion has a centered hole-punch camera, while the earpiece is subtly etched above the display. Additionally, the fingerprint reader is positioned below the screen.
On the back of the phone, there is a rectangular-shaped camera module that houses a triple-camera set-up, the ZEISS logo, and an LED flash. The module is surrounded by a square-shaped Aura Light that glows and can change colors from white to yellow, orange, or red.
The phone's volume rocker button and power button are located on the right side, while the top of the phone is clean with only the secondary noise-canceling microphone present.
At the bottom of the vivo V30 Pro, you'll find a USB Type-C charging port, downward-firing speaker, microphone, and dual SIM card tray. Sadly, the phone does not come with a 3.5mm audio jack and only has one speaker.
Display and Multimedia
The vivo V30 Pro is a smartphone with a large 6.78-inch AMOLED screen that has a resolution of 1260 x 2800 and a 120Hz refresh rate. It's a great device for multitasking because of its large screen size.
The AMOLED display produces vivid colors with excellent viewing angles. It has a peak brightness of 2,800 nits, which means that it can automatically adjust to brighten up even when used outdoors. The maximum overall brightness can reach up to 1,200 nits.
Although the device lacks a dual speaker compared to its competitors, the loudspeaker's audio quality is good. The volume can get loud, but it lacks bass. If you're looking for a better audio experience, it is recommended to use headphones or an external speaker for better sound quality.
